Midsummer

Today we're celebrating Midsummer or Midsommar in Swedish. But the funny thing thing is that Midsummer is actually tomorrow... today is Midsommarafton or Midsommar's eve. In sweden, they actually pften celebrate the day before like Christmas Eve instead of Christmas day or Valborgsmässoafton instead of Valborg (celebration of the end of winter) for instance. And as they often drink A LOT during these days, they often spend the actual day with a hangover... strange, uh? Well they are strange in many ways these Swedes! Haha!

But anyway, I'm certainly going to have a great time, we're around 45 people and you know me, it will be a multicultural party: many Swedes of course, many Mexicans, Italian, Romanian... maybe other nationalities... and French! :-p

My contribution to the food (2 crumbles, one with berries and especially blueberries and one with apple and cinnamon) are in the oven. Leaving soon. Bye bye!
