New home!

Ca y est j'ai déménagé! On vient de finir, les filles sont rentrées chez elles et je suis désormais dans un océan de cartons... Je ne vais pas tarder à m'y mettre mais je voulais écrire quelques lignes avant puisque ca fait un moment que je n'ai rien écrit. J'ai eu pas mal de choses à faire cette semaine, et notamment avec le déménagement. Et puis Midsummer vendredi (donc repos hier ;-) ).

Là je range un peu et après (quand j'ai retrouvé mon chargeur pour mon appareil photo et les cables), je vous raconte ma semaine en Italie & France, photos à l'appui. A tout'!

Så, nu är det klar! Jag har flyttat. Sitter i min nya lägenhet, i en hav av kartonger. Den andra lägenhet är tomt, det är bara städ grejer kvar... Det får vänta tills imorgon, orkar inte idag. Nu ska jag börja packa av lite saker, få lite ordning och sen kan jag berätta om min vecka i Italien och Frankrike i detalj. Kram så länge!

I'm back

Here we are, back in good old Göteborg. I usually am happy when I come back home but I have to admit today was a bit difficult. After such magical and wonderful days (although exhausting) in Italy and France, it was quite hard to leave my family after only a few hours and get back to my currently tough situation in Sweden... But you know me, it will be better tomorrow already. :)

I will write a longer post with stories and pictures tomorrow or the day after.

I'm leaving

My friends, in a few hours I'm leaving and therefore will not blog for a few days. I know it's sad but I may have better things to do like working on improving my suntan for instance. ;-)

But here is a short programme of the coming days so that you can virtually follow me in my globetrotting (or Europetrotting).

Today: flight to Rome and then Train to La Serra (South of Rome, between Rome and Napoli, where they make the Mozzarella di Buffala)

Tomorrow: beach!!!!!!

Tuesday: Tourism, the Amalfi Coast and Napoli probably

Wednesday: the reason why I am in Italy, the wedding!!!!!!!

Thursday: sleep on the beach and then Pompei

Friday: Rome and hopefully some shopping =) In the evening departure to Paris and France

Saturday: the other wedding in the South-West of France!!!!!!

Sunday: a few hours at home with the family

Monday: return trip from home to home, in other words from Pau to Göteborg (via London)

and tuesday, you ask? well sleeeeeeeping! Ah well, no wait, job interview! =)

Hot baby!

When I looked at the thermometer in my room this afternoon it showed 30 degrees. Can you believe it? 30 degrees in the shadow! No wonder I was hot like hell in my black trousers before that... It's like being in a oven in my flat lately... Summer has arrived to Sweden, no one can deny it. The good thing is that I am enjoying (my last days) on my balcony, reading or playing crosswords and drinking a manzana glass. =)

What about you, is it also warm where you are now?

Bling Bling

Igår fick vi pengar tillbaka från Skatteverket. Hade önskat mig få ungefär så mycket:

Jo, man kan alltid drömma eller hur? Och med tanke att jag hade fått tillbaka 3300 pix förra året när jag hade jobbat en månad under hela 2005, hade jag positiva önskningar för 2006-skatter. Yeah, right! Dream on it... Jag fick snarare så mycket (eller så lite, ska man säga):


281kronor... Vad ska jag göra med mina 281 spänn? Det känns som om det var nästan inte värt att få dem tillbax. Det stod i gårdagens Metro att man brukar spendera sina skattepengar på resor. Jag vet inte hur lång jag skulle komma med 281:-, Kungsbacka kanske? Tell me about resande... Nääh... jag ser inget annat lösning än... KLÄDER! Eller... Eller, eller, eller! Sådana reseguides till Italien jag såg på Akademi Bokhandel igår. Det var inget resa men ändå, det blir kopplad till en resa (could be a virtual trip if one really can't afford to travel). Jag såg såna småa böcker från Berlitz som är på rea och kostar 89:- så att jag skulle kunna ta en för Napoli + Amalfikusten och en för Rom, det blir 178:- och de sista 100:- får jag köpa glass i Italien för då!

YAY!!

Humeur du jour

Il est 22h30 et il fait grand jour!!! Et ce pour encore au moins une heure... et il fait beau et plus de 20 degrés, j'ai eu l'impression d'étouffer derrière ma vitre.

Et j'ai eu une très bonne journée, affaire à suivre...

And now, je vais me faire les deux derniers épisodes de la saison 3 de Grey's Anatomy pour couronner le tout (et demain les 3 derniers de Rome). YAY!!!

Oh happy day!

On Saturday we had Ms 3rd Bachelorette's party. No I didn't make any spelling mistake and yes, you read correctly, she had 3. This is what happened when one is just too nice and has too many friends. If we all had gone to the "main one" (organised by the bride's maids) we would have been around 30... way too much! That's why we had decided to have one here in Göteborg, with a group of 8-9, it seemed like the right size.

It was also the last one, and when she saw none of us three weeks ago she kind of understood that we were up to something. Clever girl! But she was trying way too much to fish for information. Not good! Anyway, she never got a word or face expression from any of us. And when 12 guys stormed into her flat to kidnapp her boyfriend, she was sent up to the neighbours' flat where we were hiding on the bedroom. The first sparkling wine bottle as open and the clock was only 9...

Then we went to the city, had a really good breakfast, gave M her clothes for the day (golf-theme) and went on through the city with some drinking and some singing and some performing and a big questionnaire about who was the happy one between 4 pictures of 4 guys (the other guys were the boyfriends to some of the girls in the group). When we got to Slottskogen, she got the last element she needed to go and play mini-golf: a real golf bag! She performed as a real pro and beat us all (we played in a team, each girl playing 1 hole against her)!

By then, the weather who really was threatening in the morning had improved and the sun was shining and the grass had had time to cry up. Perfect! Pic-nic time! A big group of boys passed us by and it turned out it was a Bachelor party. C and M performed some activities together, how much fun we had!!! The food was very good and the rosé as well. Together with some rosé it was time for some "frågesport" or culture questions about Sweden and France. M is Swedish of course, but she has been an au pair in France, has read French at University and speaks really well. And well... she got more correct answer for France that for Sweden. I have to admit that J and I were a bit mean when we made the questions, like the one on how many public authorities there are in Sweden... hahaha!!!

After that we went to Js place to shower and get ready for the evening. I could by that time realise how strong the sun had been shining in the afternoon... nice marks on my arms and my décolleté... no need to mention that I didn't need blush either... A few more games were played, a few more drinks were drunk and then it was already time to move on to the last part of the day: dinner and paaaarty! Tramway, avenyn, Nivå... big scene, photographs, what's happening? Have we become stars suddenly? It was Elle summer tour in association with Absolut who is launching a new flavour: Pears. After the dinner, we got some Monopoly money which enable us to keep drinking the whole night for free (not that we needed alcohol anymore at that point but anyway...). Well these Pear cocktails were really good: fresh, fruity, girly, summerish... After that it become somewhat blury: blackjack (won some money!), dancing, more drinking, more dancing, pictures here and there... and then I realised I was too drunk and too tired so I got home... before the others. The ones who have partying with me know how rare it is as I am rather the kind that cannot leave the place before it ends... fear to miss something maybe? Dunno but well, it seems that on that point as well I am growing up.

General feedback says that on Sunday most of us were tired and took it easy... hehe! But all of us had a great time and a great day on Saturday and that's for sure! See you on the 14th of July girls to celebrate France a little but mostly M & T! =)

Je déménage!

Ca y est j'ai trouvé un nouvel appart!! J'ai signé le contrat ce soir et j'ai récupéré mes clés aussi, ce qui veut dire que j'ai deux toits ce mois-ci... Au moins j'ai le temps de m'organiser pour le déménagement.

Le nouvel appart' est dans un super quartier, central, chic, je suis à 2 pas du nouveau cinéma, tout près d'Avenyn... le top! Bon plus de balcon et moins de verdure mais on ne peut pas tout avoir. Et puis il y a un jardin intérieur (c'est pas une cour puisque c'est tout vert avec de l'herbe, des plantes, des bancs, de jeux pour les enfants, etc...).
